MySpace Inc. and Microsoft Corp. today announced that developers can now build MySpace applications using Silverlight, Microsoft's plug-in for developing multimedia and rich Internet applications. Previously, MySpace had not formally supported Silverlight. Silverlight-based applications built for MySpace have long required that users download a player in order to run applications that use the technology.
